The decision to replace paper textbooks with e-books depends on various factors. E-books offer the advantage of being more portable and environmentally friendly, as they eliminate the need for paper production. Additionally, e-books can be easily updated and may offer interactive features that enhance the learning experience. However, some people may still prefer the tactile experience of reading a physical book, and there are concerns about the potential negative effects of screen time on eyesight and overall health. Ultimately, the decision should consider the needs and preferences of students and educators, as well as the potential benefits and drawbacks of each format. **

Textbooks are expensive for several reasons. One major factor is the high cost of production, which includes research, writing, editing, and printing. Additionally, textbook publishers often have a monopoly on the market, allowing them to set high prices without much competition. The frequent release of new editions also contributes to the high cost, as students are often required to purchase the latest version even if the changes are minimal. **

Writing in textbooks can be a useful study tool for some, as it allows them to engage more actively with the material and make notes for future reference. However, it's important to consider the resale value of the textbook and the potential impact on its condition before deciding to write in it. **

Solutions from school textbooks are the answers to the exercises and problems provided in the textbooks. They are meant to help students check their work and understand how to solve different types of problems. These solutions are usually provided at the end of the textbook or in a separate solutions manual, and they are a valuable resource for students to use for self-study and practice. **

Yes, school textbooks should become more diverse to better reflect the diversity of the world and to provide students with a more inclusive and accurate representation of history, culture, and society. By including diverse perspectives and voices in textbooks, students can gain a more comprehensive understanding of the world and develop empathy and respect for different cultures and experiences. This can also help to combat stereotypes and biases, and promote a more inclusive and equitable learning environment for all students. **
